Coupons (permits) are required to dispose of residential and bulky waste and cost is based on size of load. Coupons must be purchased prior to hauling.

  • City of Kaufman residents must purchase coupons at City Hall,
    Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Kaufman County residents must purchase coupons at Courthouse Annex Tax Office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Cost of disposal is $5.00 per cubic yard, based on size of the load. For more information on estimating size of load or cost, call 972-932-2161 prior to disposal.

No commercial waste or Household Hazardous Waste (paint, pesticides,

City of Kaufman contracts with IESI for residential trash service. Brush and bulky waste are picked up twice a month. Brush must be in manageable bundles and limited to 5 cubic yards per collection. Bulky waste is limited to two (2) items (furniture, appliances with freon removed, toys, carpeting, etc.) per collection. Contact City at 972-932-2216 for collection schedule.
